Zlatan Ibrahimovic agrees to deal with Manchester United — Roger Gonzalez

A big time reunion looks set for Manchester. With Jose Mourinho set to be named manager of the club after the firing of Louis van Gaal, one of the best players to ever play under the Portuguese tactician looks set to join him.

According to The Daily Mirror, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to become his first signing after agreeing to a deal. Mourinho coached Ibrahimovic at Inter Milan in the past, and the Swede just played his last match for PSG at the weekend after previously announcing that he would be leaving. The report says Ibra has agreed to a one-year deal with an option for a second year.

Despite being connected to a move to MLS, it looks like Ibra, for the first time, will play for an English club. But will he do more than play? Rumors are circulating that the striker will become an assistant coach at United after his playing days are done.

If United does actually sign Ibrahimovic, it would be big for a club that really struggled in attack. Despite being 34-years-old, he is still at the top of his game having scored 50 goals in 51 matches this season.
