What Nigerians Should Expect In Super Eagles-Libya Clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are expected to file out against Libya for the double header AFCON qualifiers. With Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel out of the clash, Ahmed Musa is expected to take the leadership role.

However, Odion Ighalo is expected to start in an attack-minded XI expected to be named by coach Gernot Rohr.

The Changchun Yatai striker has been in form for his side and Rohr will expect him to deliver the goals at the national side.

According to reports from the camp of the team, Wilfred Ndidi has also been handed a place in central midfield.

Ogenyi Onazi and Ahmed Musa will also start, it is claimed.

Elsewhere, Francis Uzoho, will remain in goal, behind the defensive quartet of Leon Balogun, William Troost Ekong, Brian Idowu and Shehu Abdullahi.

Samuel Kalu will likely continue to operate as the engine room, while opposition side Libya are going to stick with the same XI that earned a 0-0 draw in South Africa last month.
