The Abia State government made this known through a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor,Enyinnaya Appolos. According to the statement;

The governor further went ahead to warn revenue collection workers to desist from harrassing and intimidating the payng public;

“The Governor hereby strongly advice revenue collection workers and agents to desist from harassing and intimidating the paying public but go about their task in a respectful, humane and civilized manner.”
