Tragic: About 49 Dead, In New Zealand Mosque Shooting

Reports say that about 49 persons have been killed in a mass shooting that happened at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The shooting was streamed live on Facebook by the shooter, who was possibly wearing a helmet-camera.

The shooting happened following the publication of a “white supremacist manifesto” online.

The helmet-camera showed the shooter leaving his car, and going into the Al Noor mosque, shooting at people. He would then go into rooms, and shoot at piles of body, go back to his car, reload, and go in again.

Later, the shooter would get into his car and shoot at passers-by while saying to himself;

“There wasn’t even time to aim, there was so many targets.”

New Zealand police says that a man in his late 20s has been arrested, but he refused to identify himself. Three other individuals found around the scene of the shooting with weapons were also arrested.

Images from the Social Media showed weapons covered with the names of former military generals and people who recently carried out mass shootings.

Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand’s Prime Minister, has since labeled the attack, “an extraordinary and unprecedented act of violence,” and a terrorist attack.
