The Non-traditional Entrepreneur And Uncommon Success

–Sola Sorinolu

“And a voice came to him, ‘Rise, Peter; kill and eat’. But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean’. And a voice spoke to him again the second time, ‘What God has cleansed you must not call common'” Acts 10:13-15.

Jewish women were never ‘expected’ to participate in a beauty pageant. But Esther did!

It was that singular decision by Esther, not to go the traditional way through the prodding of her uncle, Mordecai, that made her the queen of the land. And she used her access to the king to eventually save the entire Jewish race in the whole kingdom, from mass murder!

It wasn’t traditional for Jesus to speak to the Samaritan woman He met by the well but he did. And that led to the salvation of a whole city!

Dear entrepreneur, like Peter, has God been speaking to you about an area of business enterprise for you to invest in and you are stalling because you felt it’s unconventional and untraditional for a Christian or for someone with your qualification, certification, experience or status to be involved?

Know this: Your obedience may be the key to unlocking, not just your wealth, but the extension of God’s influence on earth and in the hearts of men!
