Redeem Yourself Against Eagles, Algerian Minister Charges Foxes

By Ikenga Chronicles November 12, 2016

Algeria’s Minister of Youth and Sports, El Hadi Ould Ali has charged the country’s national team to redeem itself from the hands of the Super Eagles in today’s encounter.

The Super Eagles will battle the Desert Foxes in a 2018 Russia World Cup qualifying game in Uyo today.

The Algerian team has failed to defeat the Eagles in their past eight meetings and last won the Super Eagles in 1990, 26 years ago.

However, the minister said he was convinced that the Desert Foxes can “give the best of themselves” to achieve the “best result”.

“I am confident that you will give, as usual, the best of yourselves and I am convinced that every effort will be made throughout this game by everyone, to achieve the best results and be worthy ambassadors of our dear and glorious country,” wrote Mr. Ould Ali in an encouraging message to the national team.
