President Buhari Arrives Sharm El-Sheikh For Africa Business Forum

President Buhari has arrived the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh for the 2016 “Africa Business Forum”. The president who left Abuja on Friday afternoon was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs–Geoffrey Onyeama– and Trade and Investment– Dr. Okechukwu Enelama.

The president is expected to speak at the forum. Other speakers include the presidents of Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Gabon, Togo, Sudan,Egypt,African Development Bank, and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote. Another confirmed speaker is the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

An African Union Commission initiative, the forum’s major objectives are to solidify ties and partnership amongst African nations, and seek for ways to build on investments within Africa, while strengthening private sector engagement.
