Pogba-Solskjaer Clash Feared

By Ikenga Chronicles August 22, 2019

There are fears at Manchester United that there could be a clash between Paul Pogba and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after he has been told to stay away from spot kicks.

The decision by Solskjaer came after the France international missed a penalty in their last EPL game to deny them of a massive three points.

It is claimed that Solskjaer was angered by the onfield indecision between Pogba and Marcus Rashford over who would take Monday night’s penalty against Wolves.

The Norwegian said they should have decided before the game who was going to be on duty.

Pogba’s subsequent miss — his fourth in nine Premier League kicks — cost United as they were held 1-1 at Wolves and he apologised to team-mates afterwards.

The Sun says, however, it is how he now reacts after being told he can no longer take penalties that is concerning team-mates, who are worried his head is not 100 per cent at Old Trafford.
