Pogba Would Be Handled Better By Guardiola — Ian Wright

Former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright, has said that Paul Pogba would be a better player under Pep Guardiola as he would be better handled than how he is being handled under Jose Mourinho.

Pogba has been in a bad form, starting only once in Manchester United’s last four games in all competitions.

He was benched against Sevilla in the Champions League last-16 first leg clash on Wednesday night, having missed the weekend’s FA Cup victory over Huddersfield

Wright in his opinion feels Pogba’s form would have improved if he were to be with Premier Leaguer leaders, Manchester City.

“Could you imagine Pogba at City playing in that front line on the right, where Gundogan is playing or anywhere in and around there.

“Pep loves players. If Pogba is playing in that team I would put anything on it that he would not be in the same frame of mind that he is right now.

“I bet he is confused and doesn’t know what is going on.

“I can totally understand why Manchester United fans are saying that he is not playing well but we are talking about a top top draw player who needs managing,” Wright said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
