PDP’s Governorship Candidate For Kano State Denies Being Instructed By Kwankwaso Not To Pay Minimum Wage

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), in the inconclusive governorship election held on March 9,2019, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf has denied the publication by Sahara Reporters that he was instructed by former governor of Kano state Rabi’u Kwankwaso, not to pay the new N30,000 minimum wage.

Yusuf made this known in a tweet he sent out through his Twitter handle @engrabbakyusuf.

The tweet reads;

“Disclaimer: The story published by @SaharaReporters  saying @KwankwasoRM  directed me not to pay the proposed N30k minimum wage if elected is fake news, I pity the medium for selling it reputation to Gov. Ganduje.”

Recall that Engineer Yusuf was leading the incumbent governor of Kano State, before the election was declared inconclusive.
