Oliseh Records 20th Win With Dutch Side Fortuna Sittard

Former captain and coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh is enjoying exciting times as a manager after recording his 20th victory as coach of Dutch second-tier club Fortuna Sittard.

This is followed by the recognition of his feats with the award of the Best Coach in the Dutch Second Division.

The former Super Eagles has won 20 games in 35 matches in addition to 8 draws, a record that is hard to come by.

The last win became worthy of celebration after Sittard came from 2-0 down to defeat Jong PSV 3-2 to propel Oliseh’s team to second position on the log of the Dutch second division.

The former Juventus and Ajax midfielder was understandably ecstatic at the team’s latest victory, and he took to Twitter to express his feelings.

Oliseh tweeted, “Our exceptional 2-3 victory vs Jong PSV, coming back from 2-0 deficit is my landmark 20th victory as coach of Fortuna Sittard after 35 games in charge with 8 draws! God is Great!”

The latest win by Oliseh’s team has seen them return back to second spot in the table with 32 points from 16 league games.

Fortuna Sittard will face 15th placed RKC Waalwijk in their next home game on Friday.
