No More 3rd Bush Presidency As Jeb Bush Bows Out Of GOP Presidential Race

–Ifeanyichukwu E. Uke

Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, son of former US president George Bush Snr. , and the younger brother to the immediate past president of US George W Bush Jnr. has bowed out of the Republican Party presidential race following a heartbreaking and disappointing finish behind the loquacious Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio during the South Carolina caucus primaries. He folded his campaign citing his inability to capture the hopes of republican voters as his reason. The young Bush was very emotional when he was addressing his supporters; “I am proud of the campaign that we have run to unify our country and to advocate conservative solutions. The presidency is bigger than any one person. It is certainly bigger than one candidate” said Bush.

Jeb Bush’s deep pocket did not save his campaign. It will be recalled that Jeb Bush and his political allies raised a whooping sum of $150 million and counting in 2015. Jeb Bush’s exit from the presidential race puts an end to the 3rd Bush presidency aspiration at least for now.
