NFF Refutes Claims OF Inability To Fly Super Eagles To Zambia For W/Cup Qualifier

The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) has refuted claims that the body is having financial difficulties and is therefore having issues with taking care of the financial needs of flying the Super Eagles to Zambia for their crucial World Cup qualifier. The NFF President Amaju Pinnick made this known through the NFF’s official Twitter handle, @thenff. According to the handle;

“The NFF has dismissed a report that it cannot fly the Super Eagles to Zambia for a World Cup qualifier as blatant falsehood.”

The handle goes on to quote Pinnick as saying;

“We have concluded arrangements on movement to and from Zambia. Any talk of being unable to go is a big lie.”

“Some persons have perfected the art of concocting stories they feel people want to read about NFF and passing it off as authentic stories.” Pinnick concluded.

Late yesterday, major news outlets the world over, including CNN had reported that the NFF was having difficulties raising the necessary funds for a successful outing in Zambia, and had approached telecoms giant Globacom for support.
