Neymar Prepares For Barça Exit

Barcelona forward, Neymar has told the club that his stay at the Nou Camp depends on who succeeds outgoing coach, Luis Enrique, Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo claims.

With the club’s assistant coach, Juan Carlos Unzué, as a front-runner to succeed the current boss, Neymar is of the opinion that he will not be able to have successful career under the former Spanish goalkeeper.

It was reported that both the Brazilian superstar and the assistant coach had a  training ground bust-up during which Unzué questioned Neymar’s attitude.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Neymar has now issued an ultimatum, stating: “If Unzué stays then I’ll leave.”

Meanwhile, Barcelona claim that Enrique’s successor is already known with an official announcement due for the end of the season.

After failure to meet the club’s expectation as well as his, Enrique decided to step down at the end of the season and Barca have been assessing their options on who they will appoint.

Barcelona have been dumped out of the UEFA champions league and the hope of lifting the Spanish La Liga remains a doubt.

Vice-president Jordi Mestre yesterday told TV3 a decision had been made over what kind of boss they wanted.

But he added that president Josep Maria Bartomeu will have the last word on who it will be,and a decision will be announced after Barca’s final game of the season.
