Mikel Hints At Long China Stay

By Ikenga Chronicles January 15, 2017
Super Eagles’ captain, Mikel Obi, has hinted that he could have a long stay in China just as he did in England.
The former Chelsea player said if given the opportunity he would end his career at Chinese Super League club, Tianjin Teda as long as his feet allow him to play competitive football.
After signing a three-year deal, the former Chelsea star has vowed to see out his contract, and will be about 33 years old when the agreement expires at the end of the 2019 season.
“Of course, I want to stay in a team for a long time, I left Chelsea after eleven years, I hope to stay in TEDA for a long time, not one or two seasons” Mikel declared.
Recall that Mikel was forced out of the Stamford Bridge after Antonio Conte, the Chelsea boss clearly stated that he will not be needed in the club again.
