Martins Scores Hattrick In China

Nigerian international Obafemi Martins seems to be enjoying both the money and the play in China. He bagged a hat-trick in Shanghai Shenhua’s 5-0 rout of YSCC Yokohama in a pre-season friendly on Thursday.
Zhu Jianrong and Mao Jianqing each scored a goal for Shanghai Shenhua, who are preparing for their first competitive game of 2017– an Asian Champions League tie in February.
After a slow start to his career in China, Martins ended the 2016 season with 15 goals (4 assists) which earned him a new deal with the club.
The former Inter Milan and Newcastle United is the highest paid Nigerian professional player, with wages of nine million dollars per season.
