Lunatic’s Pad: Buhari And His Many ‘Talk One Thing, Do another Thing’

By Ikenga Chronicles November 2, 2016

“Hello presido, this huge loan you seek, what is it meant for, how do you plan to spend it?”

Then his cronies attempt an answer;

‘There are certain information and details which will enable them to consider in detail and appropriately the request of Mr President that are contained in the plan. So we are collating that information, the budget office of the federation, the debt management office, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Minister of Finance and the economic team they are collating the information so that they can be submitted to the Senate to enable them take the appropriate decision.’

Dear gods, hear! Hear!

Our beloved president is the only president who is saving so much, spends so little, yet wants to borrow more than anyone has ever done. This, I don’t understand, don’t understand at all.

Our dear leader goes abroad, calls us criminals and fantastically corrupt people, yet comes home, and tells us to speak good about Nigeria.

This confuses me. Truth be told, I am lost.

Our corruption-fighting president is the only one that sees corruption from Maiduguri to Anambra, but can’t see the rot in the rock in which he resides.

Buhari is the only president that is comfortably diversifying our economy from oil by allocating billions to oil exploration. This one is beyond me.

Buhari, unlike what many think, is actually changing a lot of things. That’s the beauty. That’s the joy.

Buhari, unlike other presidents, has become the first president to become an opposition while sitting comfortably on the throne.

Congratulations my beloved president. Forget these PDP boys, the… (what do I call them since Sai Baba is already the opposition?). Waiters!(Not Wailers)

Ok. Whatever! You won’t understand. Mstchew!

I guess I won’t understand.
