If APC Remains In Power Beyond 2019, Nigeria Will Pack Up – Lamido

A former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido has attacked the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC),saying that the party has destroyed the unity of the country.

He also said that the country will pack up if the party remained in power beyond 2019.

Lamido made this statement in Calabar on Wednesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Cross River state, Prof. Ben Ayade, to declare his intention to contest for president on the platform of the PDP.

He accused the government of President Muhammadu Buhari of deceiving Nigerians by dishing out lies during the 2015 Presidential election, saying the fact that Nigerians have discovered the deceit makes it easier to send APC out of government.

“Today in Nigeria, it is not about killing but how many people are being killed and this has divided the country more than ever before. The level of insecurity in the country is alarming and I must tell you that Nigeria is sick and held down by fear.

“APC is claiming to construct railways, roads and other infrastructure that were left behind by the PDP government. Today, APC has created insecurity and the country is almost collapsing. If APC remains beyond 2019, the country will fold up.

“This country is ours. There was PDP before APC and there will be PDP after APC,” he said.
