I Will Still Play Active Football–Enyeama Insists

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, claims he wants to play more active football and not hang up his gloves.

Enyeama has been in the cold since his contract with Lille was terminated a few months ago but despite his advanced age, still wants to be at the tick of action.

The 2013 AFCON winner says he has rejected some offers that came his way from top clubs in Israel and Turkey simply because he wants to remain in France.

Though the former Enyimba of Aba shot-stopper admits it is difficult for him to get a leading club due to his age, Enyeama is still holding unto hope of a deal coming his way soon.

The former Akwa United of Uyo goalie, who also kept goal for two clubs in Israel, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv, stressed that he wants to stay in France because of his family.

Not only does he want to remain in France, Enyeama says he is particular about where he will ply his trade next, as he does not want to be far away from his wife and kids, who are in Lille.

Enyeama is currently without a club after leaving Lille by mutual consent in August 2018.
