FFK’s Ex-wife Gets Ministerial Appointment
Saratu Atta, ex-wife to a Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chieftain Femi Fani-Kayode has been given a ministerial appointment in Ghana by the President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo.
Ms. Atta, 53, who has served as an executive aide to Akufo-Addo since 2009 is amongst the three women out of 12 appointees so far named by Akufo-Addo. The statement did not provide further details about her new role.
The two other women are Akosua Osei-Opare, Chief of Staff to the President, and Clara Tia, a presidential staffer.
According to a Premium Times report, she married Fani-Kayode, in 1987 and bore him a female child named Folake in the same year. They parted ways around 1989 when Fani-Kayode found a new wife, Yemisi Wada.
