Federal Government Begs Foreign Airlines Not To Pull Their Businesses

The Federal Government of Nigeria has appealed to foreign airlines operating in the country not to suspend operations. With recession hitting hard on all sectors, and foreign exchange hard to come by,several foreign airlines have threatened to pull their operations due to a huge decrease in passenger traffic, and scarcity of foreign exchange.

The Minister of State for Aviation Mr. Hadi Sirika made the appeal on Wednesday. Mr. Sirika specifically appealed to Emirates, Kenya Airways among others, and promised that the current economic challenges in the country will be resolved soon as government is aware of them, and is committed to finding a solution.
