Coach Emordi Part Ways With Abia

Veteran of the Nigerian Professional Football League Okey Emordi has resigned his role as the head coach of Abia Warriors on Monday.

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the club, Chief Emeka Inyama stated that Emordi said he had to leave the following series of poor results.

His resignation comes after the club lost their game against visiting El-Kanemi Warriors in a week 9 NPFL match placing the club 8th on the log with 11 points from the 27 available in 9 games; winning 3, drawing 2 and losing 4,

The club has therefore announced that assistant coach, Abdullahi Biffo will take charge of the side.
