Buhari’s Devils

Buhari is a good man, a very good man with good intentions, just like his predecessor, Jonathan. He  has good intentions for Nigeria. If you check well, very good intentions, but just like his predecessor Jonathan, he has wrong people around him.

The people around Buhari though are worse off. Do not get me wrong, when I meant “worse of, I was only being my melodramatic self. But the truth is that  unlike Jonathan’s people who were only looting, Bubu has people who are bent on making sure that he, Bubu, our redeemer, doesn’t get popular. Jonathan had cabals working against his government. Bubu has people in his government working against his government. Only devils do that.

Take a look at this:

Kachikwu, Minister of State for Petroleum, aware that Buhari was getting some relief after the passage of the budget, and that Nigerians, very quick to mock or celebrate, were also relatively happy too, revolted. Kachikwu, after all the effort made to block fuel from the common people, was shocked at the quality of magic that provided the same thing. He was so angry that he decided to tighten all avenues, and told the people that they must suffer for two more months for finding joy and looking happy in such difficult situations as waiting for hours to get fuel, the high cost of living, and the job losses. “

“Since you found joy in that, take two more months”, Kachikwu roared.

But why does he want to make Buhari this unpopular?

The second is Abike Dabiri. I don’t know the cause of her own anger. Maybe she was just upset that Kachikwu was getting all the attention, and so decided to take the spotlight too. But it isn’t for one of those reasons known to us. Abike, SA to the President on Diaspora matters was asked by a Nigerian abroad why he should return when even basic amenities are not working yet. Madam got provoked and replied ‘But who is asking you to come?’

This devil is really at work in Buhari’s government. This good man. Devil why?

Then Femi, the Media Aid to Bubu, in a bid to bring Bubu down said anyone who’s complaining of the darkness should go and confront the gas pipeline vandals. In other words, no complaint is accepted. If you don’t have light, manage.

To crown the works of the devil, Nasir S. Adhama, SA Youth and Student Affairs tweeted this after the Inferno that gulped the Sabon Gari Market in Kano:

“I pray to entire people of Kano over the tragic fire outbreak at Sabon Gari,Market. May their lost replenished”

How will the residents of Sabon Gari ever be consoled? I mean, who will ever be consoled by a message this complicated?

This has to be the devil making sure that Buhari does not succeed, but there is God. Yes, there is God.
