APC Support Group Blasts Buhari

By Ikenga Chronicles October 18, 2016

The ruling All Progressives Congress Global Support Group has berated President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration over the alarming rate of nepotism and sectionalism that has characterised his appointments so far.

This came against the backdrop of the BBC’s interview, where Aisha Buhari threatened not to campaign for her husband again if the trend continues.

In a swift reaction, the group on a statement on its Facebook page openly threw its weight behind the wife of the president who had raised alarm over a group of cabals who has hijacked her husband’s government by determining who gets what in this present administration.

The statement reads: ‘’ We have seen, experienced, felicitated and condemned the many actions, decisions and predicaments of this present administration.”

‘’15 million Nigerians voted for a government meant to be empowered with vision, foresight, and ideas, and not one fraught with nepotism, fraud, corruption and sectionalism.”

‘’APC Global support Group and millions of Nigerians canvassed for a competent government; A ‘Change’ advocate and implementer.’’

The statement added: “Sadly, the nation has witnessed much more of the very evils previously experienced by this nation Nigeria.”

‘’What we are seeing is the mis-management of this country by the least intelligent people, who are cronies of those at the helm of affairs.”

‘’We dissociate ourselves from [this] disgrace, and[are] in support of the recent comments of the first lady, Aisha Buhari.”

“Henceforth, we will be committed to enlightening and informing Nigerians of the intricacies of the short-comings, politicking, maneuvering and excessiveness of this government. We have to re-claim our country.’’
