Africa Roars: Language Fusion In Hip Hop; Patoranking’s “No Kissing”

Today on “Africa Roars”, we look at how despite our diversity, African cultures easily flow into each other and project the beauty in our creativity. In no genre of entertainment is this more vivid than in music.

Patoranking’s “No Kissing”, which he did in collaboration with Sarkodie exhibit a fusion of the Nigerian Pidgin, with the Ghanaian Twi. The blend of these two languages gave the song a continental feel that is breathtaking.

Also, the song highlights the African culture of respect for the dignity of women and the need to anchor love in its purest essence(with no placement of importance on sexual gains).

The visuals are top-notch, so enjoy it!
