1% TSA Charge: Senate Moves To Save Billions For FG

Senate resolution to terminate the renewal of the contract between the Central Bank of Nigeria and TSA enforcing body Systemspecs would see to the obnoxious 1% collection fee charged by the body disregarded. This move will save the Federal Government of Nigeria a lot of money.

Senate President Bukola Saraki made this known through his verified twitter handle @bukolasaraki. According to Saraki,

“Our resolution on the 2013 purported #TSA renewal contract between @cenbank & Systemspecs be terminated & 1% collection fee be disregarded”. Saraki stated that baring this decision, the Federal government would have paid the provider about N25Billion based on the 1%.
