Onuigbo Commences Repairs Of Rural Roads

As part of his commitment towards bettering the lives of his constituents, the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South federal constituency, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has commenced the repairs of rural link roads within his constituency.
Rep. Onuigbo made this known, in a statement he released shortly after the commencement of the grading of the Ahiaukwu-Avonku-Agbama road in Olokoro.He stated that with the rehabilitation of the Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene federal road almost done,it was necessary to turn his attention to the roads linking communities within his constituency.
“We are almost done with the Umuahia-Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene federal road.Classroom blocks’ construction in Old Umuahia and Ekebedi are almost done too, while our health centre projects in Oloko and Obuohia Ibere have begun.But in line with my desire to improve the economic and infrastructural lives of my constituents, I thought it was necessary to begin the repairs of rural roads.”
Onuigbo,who stated that trainings on small businesses for his constituents are on, revealed that economic empowerment plans have reached advanced stages and will soon be unveiled.
The honourable member used the opportunity to re-iterate his position that leadership is a collective responsibility, and charged his constituents to please always get in touch with him to offer their advice on how best to handle situations and needs.
